We're looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer who's ready to make buildings actually better-not just newer. If you want to lead high-impact commercial retrofit projects where performance, sustainability, and design actually matter, this is the role for you.

This is more than redlining drawings. You'll own projects from system evaluations through stamped construction docs, helping aging buildings level up into high-performance assets. You'll be client-facing, technically hands-on, and a go-to voice on a team that's focused on real building performance-not just compliance.

What You'll Do

• Lead HVAC retrofit projects from field investigation to final design
• Deliver stamped drawings, specs, and technical documents
• Perform load calculations, select/schedule equipment, and size systems
• Analyze existing conditions-then design smarter solutions
• Coordinate with controls, electrical, and structural teams
• Join client meetings and support permitting, sales, and project kickoff
• Mentor junior engineers and guide internal reviews

What You Bring

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
• PE license (Colorado)
• 6+ years in HVAC/mechanical design (retrofit/infrastructure ideal)
• Strong Revit + AutoCAD experience
• Familiar with mechanical codes, energy standards, and design best practices
• Comfortable in the field and in front of clients
