We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team, with a focus on data center and healthcare projects. This role is ideal for a technically skilled and experienced engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about designing mission-critical systems that support essential services and advanced technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical design for tenant fit-outs and serve as a key designer on large-scale base building and infrastructure upgrades, particularly in data center and healthcare environments.
  • Develop riser diagrams, schedules, floor plans, and contribute to technical specifications.
  • Define design criteria and compile basis of design documentation tailored to high-reliability systems.
  • Produce comprehensive contract documents, including layouts for equipment rooms, closets, shafts, and risers.
  • Design and document ancillary systems such as UPS, generators, fuel systems, secondary water pumps, and water reclamation systems-critical for resilient infrastructure.
  • Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, evaluate contractor change orders, and conduct site visits and punch lists with minimal supervision.
  • Assist in developing efficient project schedules and ensure timely task completion across the team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of trade-specific scopes, codes, and interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Familiarity with the unique requirements of data center and healthcare facility design is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in design software including Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Deep understanding of documentation requirements across all project phases (SD, DD, CD).
