Onsite in Weston, FL
Responsibilities:
Design & Development
- Design and develop components for medical devices, including plastic parts, enclosures, and cable assemblies.
- Turn design requirements into detailed engineering specs and system-level solutions.
- Solve design problems and make improvements with minimal supervision.
Compliance & Documentation
- Follow industry and regulatory standards in design and testing.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, such as Design History Files.
- Use design controls and risk management in line with quality system procedures.
Team & Project Work
- Work independently and manage priorities across multiple tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring products from concept to production.
- Stay organized and detail-focused in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- 2+ years of mechanical design experience, ideally in the medical device industry.
- Experience with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo).
- Strong skills in designing for manufacturability and working with electro-mechanical systems.
- Understanding of FDA and ISO standards is a plus.
- Self-motivated with good problem-solving and communication skills.
