Company: GP Building Products Services, LLC Location: Las Vegas, NV Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per year Job Description: Drive the Asset Center Owner (ACO) process for the dryer by collaborating with project engineers, electrical engineers, onsite maintenance, production, operations, and corporate dryer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to improve equipment reliability and product quality. Maintain Year-to-Date Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) of less than 2.0% downtime for the entire year. Lead process improvements by working with production on dryer heat balancing, correct operational parameters, and settings. Coordinate with vendors and external resources to ensure moisture sensors are functioning and calibrated properly. Collaborate with corporate resources, quality, and production teams to reduce water demand per product, leading to decreased heat demand. Work with project engineers on energy reduction projects to reduce energy costs and consumption, particularly with kettles, ultimately reducing production downtime. Responsible for supporting a team of operators during scheduled down days and weeklong outages to drive operator-based maintenance, including preventive maintenance and equipment reliability inspections, resulting in safe operations and increased process efficiency. Conduct data analysis on the palletizer and mixing floor to identify material waste. Partner with the plaster team to reduce stucco waste for cost reduction. Assist with equipment process safety for boilers, kettles, and autoclaves to ensure risk reduction. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience in a Manufacturing Environment. Must also have 2 years of experience in each following: Working in a continuous industrial manufacturing process; Designing/developing new processes to optimize production efficiency across a multi-site structure in a manufacturing environment; Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, increase efficiency and improve quality; In a high-volume manufacturing products environment (at least 3 facilities) supporting cross-functional teams; and Troubleshooting issues and implementing reliability improvements across a multi-site structure.
