Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Alabama and a strong background in industrial mechanical and piping systems. This position is ideal for someone with 4+ years of experience, a passion for practical problem-solving, and the ability to guide projects from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities: Perform engineering calculations, load analysis, and system sixing for electrical power distribution, lighting, and control systems Review, approve, and seal engineering designs, drawings, and calculations in accordance with applicable codes and standards Develop technical specifications for equipment and installation Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into broader project designs Coordinate with vendors, clients, and construction teams to ensure project requirements are met Conduct and document site visits, inspections, and as-built verifications as needed Provide technical review of engineering deliverables to ensure quality and compliance Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (ABET-accredited) Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Alabama (required); additional state licensure strongly preferred Minimum 4 years of electrical engineering experience, ideally in industrial or heavy facility environments Experience with power distribution, lighting, and control systems design Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, or similar) is a plus Strong technical writing and communication skills Commitment to maintaining licensure in good standing, including continuing education requirements Familiarity with analysis tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM, or similar) is a plus Location & Work Arrangement: Open to remote, hybrid or on-site applicants Compensation & Benefits: Commensurate with experience and licensure.
