Principle Electrical Engineer to join our team in

As our Principle Electrical Engineer, you are the lead member of the Electrical Design technical staff. You will design, develop, modify and evaluate ruggedized aerospace, high speed, high power and high reliability electronic equipment and systems for the next generation products.
Location: Santa Clarita, CA-Onsite
Salary: $ 138,700.00 - $184,900.00 per year plus potential bonus

Your Challenge
- Determines design approaches and parameters based on input from customer or systems architect.
- Designs complex circuits and PCB layouts to meet requirements, as well as conduct experimental tests to validate designs.
- Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability requirements.
- Produce & support power (nominal, absolute), reliability and thermal analysis.
- Produce technical documentation to meet CW engineering standards practice.
- Assess vendor capability to support product development.
- Leads the electrical engineering team, providing design guidance and oversight from inception to release.
- Leads standard design practices and continuous improvement activities.
- Leads design reviews and tracks design quality metrics.
- Systematically determines root cause of failures or performance anomalies and provides technical approaches to resolve issues expeditiously.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and preferably a master's degree in engineering discipline. Ten years' defense industry experience directly related to high-speed PCB development, digital and analog designs.
- Must have expertise in electronic product design, an all-around knowledge of electronics, and possess excellent design/troubleshooting skills.
- 3-4 years of experience with Altium and Mentor Graphics DxDesigner for schematic capture.
- Experience with DOORS, Spice, MatLab, SysML (Cameo), Xpedition and Hyperlynx are preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Tool Suite.
- Hands on experience with debug tools (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, TDR, other laboratory tools).
- Fundamental understanding of advance analog/digital architectures/blocks such as (filters, power converters, state machines, transfer functions).
- Experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) process.
