Job Description:

Location: Vernon Hills, IL General Description: Responsible for working with customers, engineers, and contractors on parts, R&R and service inquiries and orders. Responsible for a specific set of products review specs, drawings and BOMs for projects. Provide quotes and quote follow-up. Enter orders and expedite parts shipments. Closeout orders on Aftermarket backlog. Work closely with our vendors. Essential Functions: Bid / Submittal review. Research and identify the specific part(s) required by the customer. Assume responsibility for obtaining and quoting price and delivery; processing customer PO's; heavy phone usage (incoming and outgoing). Maintain project folders and required records for each customer as required. Special projects, including promotions. Close projects. Maintain product sell prices. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited institution. Experience: 4 years Customer Service or Aftermarket Sales Experience. MS Office, Adobe, Baan, Salesforce. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task. Experience with ISO9001 requirements. Excellent written, communication and presentation skills. Detailed knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor or similar 3D modeling package. Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. Working knowledge of ERP systems. Previous experience with wastewater treatment equipment. Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% travel may be required to do inspections as product expert with RM, startup of complex rebuilds.
