• Develop process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and general arrangement layouts.

• Perform equipment sizing, pressure drop calculations, and thermal evaluations.

• Specify mechanical equipment (pumps, HX, tanks) and review vendor submittals.

• Coordinate mechanical interfaces with structural, electrical, and controls teams.

• Support fabrication, testing, and commissioning of modular systems.

Client & Business Development Support:

• Participate in client meetings to understand technical requirements and constraints.

• Collaborate with business development and estimating teams to define scope and pricing.

• Assist in proposal development by providing technical narratives, system descriptions, and basis of design documents.

• Serve as a technical point of contact for ongoing projects and pre-construction discussions.

• Build long-term relationships with client engineering teams and provide technical leadership during early-stage planning.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license

• 10 to 15 years of experience in mechanical or process system design (industrial or commercial sector).

• Strong working knowledge of ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASME Section VIII, and fluid system design standards.

• Experience in modular, skid-based, or prefabricated system delivery preferred.

• Proficiency with design tools such as REVIT.

• Proficiency with Pipe Stress Analysis

• Ability to prepare and review engineering deliverables such as P&IDs, equipment data sheets, and line lists.

Preferred Attributes:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with CAESAR

• Demonstrated experience working directly with clients or project owners.

• Ability to participate in project planning, scope development, and proposal efforts.

• Understanding of procurement processes, equipment selection strategy, and vendor engagement.
